HELP SUPPORT: Stand_For_OmasanGreg_Futughe_Of_The_NigeriaArmy

OMASAN GREG FUTUGHE” with the following details:
*Nms 94/3072
*Army No: 00NA/94/1110
*Unit : 27 task force brigade deployed to fight against terrorism in the North-East under the Op Lafiya Dole.
Any Nigerian youth that is too young to die for the nation either as an ethnic, state, regional, or national voice against all odds irrespective of those they will be stepping on to liberate their land and people as patriotic, should know they are too young to rule because true leaders are not cowards but must be ready to sacrifice for their land even to their death rather than to seek political power through politics riding on the campain of "Not Too Young To Run" with intent to get hold of power where they will use the nation as shield for their personal security even if to the detriment of their people and land. I know today supposed to be a holiday where Nigerians should spend quality time with their families, but how can we comfortably have fun in peace when there are some amongst us that are living in serious pains for even sacrificing their own comfort and leisure to defend our land?

The Nigeria youths are not too young to rule but when it comes to defending and protecting their lands and people, then they will be too young to die, as they want the young soldiers and other human right advocates to clear the field for them to come take over leadership where all they can offer is the grammars they got from google. Nigerians should be wary of youths that go about campaigning youth taking over leadership turned a blind eye to the campaign against terrorism and genuine agitation campaigning against the leadership structure that has impoverished the land. It is a pity, frustrating and tiring that the Nigerian youths are not helping in matters that will liberate Nigerians from political hostage and the develop the nation but rather complicate the system with their deliberate silence over things that matters most as a result of cowardice.

The younger and vibrant officer in the attached photo mix goes by the name of “OMASAN GREG FUTUGHE” with the following details:
*Nms 94/3072
*Army No: 00NA/94/1110
*Unit : 27 task force brigade deployed to fight against terrorism in the North-East under the Op Lafiya Dole precisely in 27 TF Bde Buni Yadi   is a citizen of the Niger Delta and from the itsekiri extraction, but has been badly wounded by the Boko Haram RPG blast which affected his eyes of which the Nigeria Army and Nigeria Government are not putting in enough support to in his treatment, Nigerians should know he is not the first to have suffered in the hands of the goverment  and won’t be the last of such maltreatment from the same nation he has sacrificed his all to defend as there some other officers from other ethnic nationalities.

Although, he was evacuated on the same night of the blast to  Damaturu for an emergency medical attention and then transferred  to 7 Div Military Hospital Maiduguri, of which he was referred to the University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital and then down to 44 military hospitals in Kaduna within a month and 10 days but now they have referred him to an Indian owned specialist Hospital called Thelish. Can we Nigerians and the international communities see how inhuman those genuinely defending our lands have been badly treated by our government?

Would he have gone through all these troubles if supposing he is the son of the chief of Army staff (Burutai) even if it was to be a minor injury from a bicycle accident? Would they have flown him with the military jet to be the best clinic in the world the same way Buhari’s son (Yosuf) after his power bike accident was immediately flown to Western Germany according to President Buhari? But to today our brother OMASAN GREG who is an Itsekiri by tribe, Niger Deltan by region, Christian by religion, a Nigerian by nationality, and African by race is being treated like an animal despite his contribution by pledging his life and comfort to defend the territorial integrity of our nation Nigeria.

The latest update has it that the young officers needs a Cornea implant if his sight must be saved because his eyes have been badly damaged as a result hot sands and debris that has been buried  in his eyes which he has already lost  his right vision while the left eye is cloudy and out of focus as a result of the blast in the line of duty.

The medical advisers' advice there should carried our a quick surgery that save the parts of his eye that is still function to avoid a total blindness of which the Ophthalmologist said he has about 2 -3 weeks to do the surgery depending on his body system, or else he will completely lose his vision for life. But the problem now is that the surgery cannot proceed without the payment to carry it on because according to the hospital they will not do with without the payment due to their past experience with the Nigeria army that has always refused to remit on time after they have served them. Imagine despite the billions allocated to defense yet they have refused to prioritize the health of the soldiers doing the ground and more dangerous work.

The Hospital has advised the family and friends of OMASAN GREG to raise funds as Nigeria Army bureaucracy and paperwork takes time even if they will take responsibility for the treatment which might be too late by the time they are ready. Our hero (OMASAN GREG) needs a total of N2.6m for the surgery.

The Nigeria system of Government does not encourage patriotism diligent and selfless service which is the bane of our progress as everyone just want to join the viruses that have infected our lands because the government has shown little or no appreciation to those that are willing to put their life down to save the nation. We as the people must show that love to those that have shown love to our nation because if not for them that personal life and that of family and business that are so precious to us would have no value by the time our society become ungovernable for all.

The Nigeria police, army, and other security agencies are part of the complication that has hindered the restoration of justice in our land because they are the ones used as mechinaries by the oppressive government to hunt and clampdown whoever they perceived as trouble to them, but by the time the same security agents that was once used to hunt and hurt those demanding for the complete freedom for all also becomes victims of the same oppressive government when their rewards for their services rendered are not duly paid to them of which many of them died at a very old age suffering without getting their pension benefits.

The old soldiers and police are are suffering as a result of deprivation that they cannot even afford a good medical care and food including paying their children feels while their bosses are sending their own children abroad to study, but the same security pensioners who we pity today were the same accomplice to the crime the politicians in charge of the government committed against the masses, now how can they get help when it the same them that was used to hunt those fighting against the ills of government? If they have defended the human right advocates they in return would have got help from as a result of justice demanded by the human right advocates who unfortunately they are the ones used to frustrate several agitations with aim of demanding for the rightful entitlement of all Nigerians which including the pensioners, the old and the less privilege.

Note the retired security agents will surely share from the suffering of those they once referred to as bloody civilians that would have spoken for them then,  hadn’t been they have not allowed themselves to be used as machine guns to frustrate a just course for justice in the guise of maintaining peace and order in the society when the average man is suffering while his political leaders live in lavish. The security agencies used to hinder the call for justice should have at the back and front of their mind that by the time the government start depriving them of their entitlement when their services are no longer needed, only then they will understand how it feels to be vulnerable like the unarmed Nigerians they had earlier maltreated and humiliated as  bloody civilians without considering they those they referred to as bloody civilians are agitating for a better life and respect for all irrespective of status from their leaders which even the generation of the security agencies will also benefit from them.

Our security leaders should have in mind that if they deprived those demanding for justice from the political leaders today then their children will suffer the aftermath of their action in one way or the other because their own security will not be guaranteed immediately they lost the power of the gun and uniform which they have used to hurt those trying to help the society through advocacy.

Information has it that his friends serving with him in the army have been able to raise a total of Five Hundred and Eighty-Five Thousand Naira (N585,000 only, out of the Two Million and Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N2.6m) requested for his urgent surgery remaining a balance of Two Million Fifteen Thousand Naira to start the process.

I'm calling on the good Nigerians to assist this young officer to at least serve the only left eye that is still functioning to avoid becoming completely blind which will render him useless to the society as no man will be complete without his sight.  I, therefore, call on Nigerians to assist the young man in whatever way they can either as a group, or individual capacity to be of assistance to officer Omasan who has served our nation diligently in his own capacity by sacrificing his peace and comfort for our nation's security. Please, find his Bank Account details below :

Acct number 0025906092
Acct name: Omasan Futughe
Bank: GTBank. No amount is too small and may God bless those that will bless him.

Conclusively, I'm calling on the leadership of the  Itsekiri National Youth Council that is saddled with the responsibility to protect and defend every Itsekiri sons and daughter anywhere in the world, which is ably led by Comr. Weyinmi Agbateniro Agbass and the leadership of Itsekiri Leaders of Thoughts which is the pen and voice of the Itsekiri nation that has contributed in lots of way towards the development of Delta State and Niger Delta at large currently under the leadership of Chief Barr. Edward Ekpoko as chairman and A.S Mene as secretary to wade into the matter by doing everything possible within their capacity to ensure the wounded soldier who has demonstrated bravery in the defense of our territorial integrity got the needed and appropriate medical attention by calling on the Nigeria Army and government under President Buhari.

In the struggle to liberate our nation is not only about the Itsekiri ethnic nationality alone but the entire nation consisting of the Urhobos, Ijaws, Isokos, Edo, Igbo, Yoruba, Kogi, Benue, Kwale, Ogwash and others as we are victims of the government marginalization, oppression, and suppression in one way or the other. I, therefore, call the Urhobo progressive Union UPU and the youth angle including that of the Ijaws, Isoko and others to put aside our differences and then join forces in the fight for justice and liberation of the people of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. We should remember that an injury to one is an injury to all.
